The Learning Is a Fun Experience,
(L.I.F.E) After School Center
is open to residents of Dorchester Bay properties and is designed
to be a safe haven for kids ages 7-18 to do their homework,
learn new activities, make new friends, and have some good old
fashioned FUN!!
LIFE is open Monday-Friday
from 2:30pm-6:00pm throughout
the school year
We have a 1:10 staff to child ratio
and rely on the support of residents and community volunteers.
Participants receive home work
help, literacy drills, and they are given snacks.
Additional workshops include:
self-esteem, tolerance, hygiene,
nutrition, computers, and life skills training/home economics.
If you are interested in
volunteering or contributing to the life program below is a is a
list ways you can support the L.I.F.E:
1. Volunteer 1 to 2 hours per
week to help with homework
2. Teach a child a new skill
3. Gift Cards, gift
certificates
4. Donate Snacks

• Peanut
Butter
• Bagels
• Splenda

Granola Bars
• Trail
Mix

Dry Cereal
• Or
anything else that could be given as a snack and takes very little
time to prepare.
Bring in your receipt with
your donation...each $10 spent equals 1 parent volunteer hour.
