Dychell Reeves Both born and raised in Roxbury, MA Dychell Reeves is sensitive and aware of the challenges that many low-income families face. These issues drive
Dychell to serve the needs of the community, using technology as the catalyst. Ms. Reeves firmly believes that everyone deserves a fair chance.
She has provided computer instruction to over 1000 private citizens in Roxbury and Dorchester over 20 years. Professionally she has worked for organizations such as Reel Vision Productions, South End Technology Center, and Madison Park Development Corporation’s CSET
Program. Dychell attended Roxbury Community College and is
certified in Microcomputer Applications. Ms. Reeves also continues to reinforce her computer skills by obtaining other certificates (Microsoft Office 2000 and Computer Fundamentals and Business communication) through The Brainbench Authority.
Dychell recently became IC3 Certified.

*Karen "Cookie" Sheers Karen "Cookie" Sheers came to Dorchester Bay EDC in 2000 as a participant of the TGH program with her oldest daughter Tinisha. She returned in 2002 as an AmeriCorps Vista Volunteer. She assisted the Uphams/Dudley Technology Goes Home Program for a period of two years before being hired on a part time basis by Dorchester Bay EDC. In July 2005, Cookie was hired as a full time employee wearing two hats: one as Administrative Assistant for Dorchester Bay and another hat as an Instructor for the Family TGH program. Cookie & Tinisha were awarded the "Family of the Year" plaque at the City-Wide Graduation for TGH in June, 2004 and she continues to teach, volunteer, and grow with technology everyday. *Uphams-Dudley Technology Goes Home strongly fosters the growth of it's students. When a person joins TGH, it is expected that they gain employment/a promotion/ or pursue higher education. Over the years, many students have met that goal. Karen Sheers is one of those students.
